Cad, do you make it homemade or semi homemade with a seasoning packet?

No seasoning packet, but it is a simple Beef Stroganoff.
2 pounds beef for stew
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
4 ounces butter
1 onion
4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed beef broth
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
1 (6 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
⅓ cup sour cream
salt and ground black pepper to taste
Brown the beef in the butter in a saucepan, add the onion and cook until the onion becomes translucent, add the flour to absorb liquid, pour in beef broth, turn to low and add mustard, simmer on low about 30 minutes to cook beef, then add the mushrooms and sour cream. Serve over egg noodles.

Ribeye for me, small fillet for wife, grilled asparagus, small romaine salad for me, wife had a baked potato. Both steaks came out a nice medium rare minus that I was shooting for. Asparagus were much bigger than last weeks and came out good as well. Both steaks were seasoned with a Maldon sea salt flake (come on Wynnv, give me some credit for that!).

Browning and simmering some deer cube steak(green onions, garlic, red pepper flake and a splash of red wine and Worcestershire) , got a quart of homemade bone broth to turn into gravy. Bowl, mashed potatoes and pour it on top. Not fancy but gooood.

Wife made her a shrimp/bell pepper/onion/garlic kinda dish tonight, that I was not interested in. I took some of my left over ribeye, covered in in blackening seasoning and seared it in a pan basting with butter. Had that with a Caesar salad.

Thanks guys. She has pneumonia and COPD exasperation. She has heart problems so they scheduled an electrocardiogram to make sure this didn't cause any damage. She's tough and will get thru this.
