Butter garlic fresh trout, fresh redfish on the half shell and onion rings. Long day for me but, the boys took care of it. Kind of a light dinner but I surely am not complaining. Attachment Deleted

Charcoal grilled chops with a little Apple wood. Steamed corn in the husk and sliced tomatoes.
Corn and maters were picked this morning.

Used to over cook pork chops all the time, quick sear on hot spot, move to cool spot, cook to 140 and let them rest. A little pink is a good thing. But what do I know, I’m cooking hotdogs and French fries tonight.

This morning I kept one barracuda around 7 lbs. Two snappers maybe 1.5 each. One permit, between 5-6 lbs.
All cleaned and chopped finely this morning. Soaking in lime, tomato, red and white onion, jalapeno, habanero, cilantro all day.
Wife made tortillas and tortilla chips.
Kinda routine for us. Wife's day off is today so she's like on her fifth beer. No bueno for me....

Never caught cigauterra or however they spell it. I agree with you. Excellent white meat. I live about a mile and a half from a live reef. So maybe I'm rolling the dice. But never caught it in the Bahamas, or Cayman's either, and I fished a bunch of live coral reefs....

That’s kind of what I’m making. We do patty melts all the time. Tonight is smoked chicken salad/provolone melts. I just gotta have some kind of protein in there to call it dinner.

No sir, no fruit other than lime juice. I'd be open to trying it, but my wife, and me, to a degree, like it hot. I've even taught my daughter, raw, and spicy. I'm not as tough as my wife, she can eat a habanero like an apple. I'm not that tough yet, but close.
