I entertained the idea of opening a sports pub and serving full size "wings and legs". I absolutely hate going somewhere and having to deal with those little wings

Best part of the chicken is the Thighs.. Flats for the wings , Garlic / Parm is real good with hot sauce on the side. We usually get thighs w bone in and cook on a hot grill. Sear them and they stay juicey.

Flats, crispy, naked, medium. Never seen a cleaner bone. People that leave meat on a chicken wing really bother me.

I don’t think I ever met a fried chicken that I didn’t like. Went to Golden Corral a couple weeks ago. Hit the fried chicken hard. A small piece of pot roast then hit the chicken hard again. It was lunchtime and I had a hard time staying awake to drive home.

Used to love Hooter's 3 Mile Island, wet, wrapped in a curly fry, and dipped in their Blue Cheese. (Hooter's original locations, not Ken's at franchises). Along with a rum and coke. I don't do any of that anymore.
Now I like a mix of Drummies and flats, medium buffalo, well done. A couple of mom and pops around here do them well.
I also recently learned that Buffalo Wild Wings fries in beef tallow, which may merit a revisit. Use to love original locations BW3's back in the day.

I like a dry rub on them and pop'em in the air fryer, flats or drums.

One problem I have is getting places to drop them "fresh". Not precooked.
Also I like an original type thin sauce. No corn starch. Franks, butter and a pinch garlic is all you need. Maybe a bit of cayenne.

I have gotten their unbreaded wings and had them tossed in their hot sauce before. This is true. I always do that when I buy Publix wings. They don't pre-sauce them because the boxes they use under the heat lamp would get soggy. They would have to put them in plastic containers that would cost more and take up more space.

I like to take Publix naked wings, recook them in the air fryer or oven until extra crispy and toss them in some homemade buffalo sauce
