A couple of seasons ago while on the way to his stand in the dark my brother walked up on a full sized clown balloon floating a couple feet off the ground and drifting right to him. He said for a split second he thought it was a demon of the woods, then he shown his light on it and his brain quickly processed it. He said it happened all too fast to be scared.

i put a 200 yd stalk on a 3 foot tall batman balloon at kicco wma few years back, spotted it inside a oak hammock grabbed binos and sure enough that hog was moving , probably feeding on acorns. i got the wind right and put my plan in action, it was a great stalk to bout 40 yds away when i realized it wasnt a hog. i took that sucker home with me.

Years ago we were hunting deep inside Big Cypress and came across a weather balloon from the Miami Weather Service office. Had worked with them some on ag forecasting and sent the recorder back to them.
More recent, my son and had done a trip out to a remote camp and came across a ballon on the buggy trail that was a Happy Birthday balloon. It happened to be mine that day! Guess it was a wish from above!

We see them quite a bit at camp. I always imagine the kid screaming at the top of its lungs for 20 minutes to get the balloon, and another 20 minutes when they let it get away from them..
