Boys and buddies have been heading to the coast for a few years now on Christmas eve. Relief from us old people cooking and scrambling around 😂. Got a few pretty cool ones. Cody wants a redhead to mount and a nice drake bufflehead. He got a really pretty bufflehead that’s wrapped up for the taxidermist. All 3 missed the drake of the other, I had never even heard of it. The redhead is still on the list.

Nice that they care enough to go and have their lists. Hunting traditions are awesome.

Second pic is a hen old squaw, he said the drake was super good looking. New one to me but I never really graduated beyond woodies.

Nice. Wait till the last week for the drake redhead Thanks Art, I’ll pass that along. They have located them in years past but they always fly in in the wrong direction LOL

Lotsa redheads on the west coast. Crystal River and north pretty much.
They fly over the "breakwall" at Steinhatchee and raft by the thousands.
