Here's a very fine tune, in every sense.
( Except, perhaps, the sense of smell. )
Written and performed by a now legendary local band.
The River des Peres is little known outside the metro area.
It's not a tourist destination, yet, but there's plenty of time.
The famous River des Peres Yacht Club might yet make a comeback.

Seen all kinds of shit in mailboxes. Usually after a bunch of rain. Yellow rat snakes being the most common. Frogs, black widows, bats.
First week on the job I grab a piece of outgoing mail. At the last second I see a scorpion fall into the tub of outgoing mail. Now that I know there is a scorpion in my truck I spend the next 20 minutes taking every letter out of that tub to find it. I still have that little bugger at my case in the office.

Wife got tagged moving some boxes, lil bugger got stuck on some packing tape. These were maybe 2.5-3 inches long, tan/light brown. I still turn my boots (that are only hunting boots) upside down and knock em pretty good before putting on.

My mom had this document in her condo when she died. I just got around to researching and found out it was a land grant in 1882 to my GG Uncle for 67+ acres of land in what is Tavernier today. He had a pineapple plantation. It has the President of the USA's signature on it. That land would be worth a billion today IMO.
